Rikki Van Camp has been photographing in and around the Finger Lakes region for more than 20 years. She is an award-winning photojournalist, having earned the top honor from the New York State Associated Press in 2005, the top honor from the New York State Publishers Association for feature photography in 2000, 2002, and 2003 as well as numerous honors from the New York State Press Association.
Rikki is a photographer and photo editor for a newspaper chain of 10 weeklies covering the suburbs of Rochester, New York, plus one daily newspaper located in the Finger Lakes. Her work has been featured in USA Today and on MSNBC.com, time.com, and newsweek.com.
Rikki's photography has been included in juried exhibitions in Rhode Island, Colorado, and Florida. Her photographs have been on exhibition at George Eastman House in Rochester, and are currently carried by Artizanns Gallery in Naples, South Bristol Cultural Center and The Renaissance in Canandaigua, Wegmans in Canandaigua, and Heron Hill Winery in Hammondsport and on Seneca Lake.
In addition to photography, Rikki Van Camp works in assemblage art and collage using mixed media. She and her husband, David, an industrial designer, reside in the Finger Lakes region with eight happy cats.
